  1.                                  ABOUT TRICOLOR
  2.  
  3. TRICOLOR is a game of colorful triangles.  Each triangle has
  4. different colors on each side.  The object of the game is to
  5. match the colors as you put all the triangles together to form
  6. one large triangle.  For each match you get, you receive points.
  7. The points are fewer as you begin to build the triangle, and 
  8. become greater as the possibilities of matching triangles become
  9. less, and as time to complete the triangle runs out.  The registered
  10. version has 10 levels (unregistered version has 5 levels), 3 
  11. difficulty options (the unregistered version has only the normal
  12. difficulty option), and a scorebox for the highest ranking scores
  13. (the unregistered version does not record high scores).  There
  14. is a choice of two musical scores, downloaded from America OnLine,
  15. to play during the course of the game.  For the rules of the game,
  16. and game strategy, press the "HELP" button on the introductory screen.

  22. for your own purposes, and may distribute the shareware version
  23. freely.  However, you may not charge others for its distribution

  42.                                   INSTALLATION
  43.  
  44. TRICOLOR is a windows program and must be installed from Windows.
  45. This is the install procedure for a download:
  46. 1) Extract all files to Directory "TEMP"
  47. 2) For windows versions prior to Win95, go to Program Manager->Run
  48.    and type C:\TEMP\SETUP, then hit "OK" or the return key.
  49.    For Win95, go to START->Run and type C:\TEMP\SETUP and hit "OK"
  50.    or the return key. This is the install procdure from discs:
  51. 1) Insert Disc 1 in your disc drive.
  52. 2) For windows versions prior to Win95, go to Program Manager->Run
  53.    and type A:\setup, then hit "OK" or the return key.  For Win95,
  54.    go to START->Run and type A:\setup, and hit "OK" or the return key.

  67. copy of TRICOLOR on a single computer.  This product is "in use" on a 
  68. computer when it is loaded into temporary memory(i.e., RAM) or installed 
  69. into permanent memory on a hard drive or CD-ROM or other storage device of 
  70. a computer.  However, installation on a network server for the sole purpose 
  71. of distribution to one or more other computer(s) shall not constitute a "use"
  72. for which a separate license is required.  Customer may either (a) make one 
  73. copy of the software solely for backup or archival purposes provided that 
  74. such copy must bear the copyright notice contained in the original, or (b) 
  75. transfer the software to a single hard disk provided you keep the original 
  76. solely for backup or archival purposes.

  78. COPYRIGHT: Purchase of this software does not transfer any right, title, or 
  79. interest in the software to customer except as specifically set forth in 
  80. this License Agreement.  Customer is on notice that the software is 
  81. protected under the copyright laws in all member nations of "Universal 
  82. Copyright Convention" or "Convention for the Protection of Works of Arts and
  83. Literature."

  86. OTHER RESTRICTIONS: This license and the software may be transferred to a 
  87. third party, provided the third party agrees to all the terms of this License
  88. Agreement and the customer removes all copies of this software from the 
  89. customerÆs operating system.  The customer may not reverse engineer, 
  90. decompile, or disassemble this software.

  92. TERMINATION:  I, Randy Koenders, reserve the right to terminate this license 
  93. upon breach.  In the event of breach, customer will either return all copies 
  94. of the software to me, or provide me with a certificate of destruction of 
  95. all copies.

  97. WARRANTY:  I provide no warranties, either express or implied, that this 
  98. software will function in any particular manner of the customerÆs machine.  
  99. It has been purchased as is, with all defects.  In addition, there is no 
  100. liability express or implied for consequential damages resulting from its
